Selfteached sewer without any particular talent for it. French girl expatriate in Germany, I sew wenn my two girly monsters let me. So, not really often. I’m a convinced thrifter and refashioner, and totally into paleo. Oh, and I work as a part-time marketing assistant.

Couturière autodidacte sans talent particulier. Expatriée en Allemagne, je couds quand les minettes (5 et 2 ans) m’en laissent le temps. Donc pas souvent. J’achète d’occasion et customise. Je mange paléolitique. Et je travaille à temps partiel dans le marketing.

Embellish Knits Month 1 & 2

Kathleen from Grosgrain fabulous decided november would be the month of embellished Knits. I'm a bit late but she is as well (today is day 28 and we have december).

So.... What did I do? I embellished a black cardigan from H&M with a rainbow elastic band:









And I made a cardigan out of a V-neck knit (H&M too) I was not wearing anymore:





No before pics, sorry! I added the pink lace I found at a shop holded from a very old lady in Switzerland, where I work. The rose is a broche.

To change the knit into a cardigan I used this tutorial. I used band instead of bias tape. Next time I'll use bias tape. Definitely.
